Mark Rattigan WA Financial Adviser of the YearMerideon Wealth Strategies’ Managing Director, Mark Rattigan, was recently awarded Charter Financial Planning’s State Adviser of the Year recently against some very well respected WA Financial Advisers.

The award acknowledges the achievements of advisers who have shown exceptional customer service and the ability to tailor advice to suit their client’s financial goals and aspirations. The award also recognises advisers who actively support their local community and the Financial Planning industry.

Mark is one of the youngest advisers in Australia to receive the award and will now be competing for the prestigious Gerald Lipmann award at the National Symposium in April next year.

Managing Director of Charter Financial Planning Kevin Stone said Mark epitomises the true spirit of the award, demonstrating excellence in helping his clients achieve their financial targets while exhibiting a strong commitment to the Mandurah community.

“While being committed to guiding his clients through their financial lives, providing them with one of the essential ingredients to their financial fitness, Mark has also worked tirelessly as the Vice President of the Peel Chamber of Commerce and as the GenXt WA Chairman of the Association of Financial Adviser,” Mr Stone said.

Mark Rattigan has been operating Merideon Wealth Strategies for just over 3 years and on winning the award said: “It’s an honour to receive this award and be recognised against such experienced and respected advisers. Even though this award acknowledges an individual’s contribution, for me, it’s broader recognition of the positive impact advisers have on people’s financial well-being.

“We support our clients through their lives, working with them to develop a financial roadmap which addresses their current needs and charts the way to achieve their future aspirations,” Mark said.

“Giving back to the community is an important part of our ethos at Merideon Wealth Strategies. It’s important for us to be involved at the grassroots level with issues that impact the local community where we live and work.”

Merideon launched a fun and educational program called Healthy, Wealthy and Wine! last year to help clients and the community learn more about the “basics of finance” which so many people fail to understand. “Our team is passionate about helping people understand more about their finances to enrich their future. We believe their is a big issue in Australia with underinsurance and financial illiteracy.” Mark said.
